DJ Leggs (Daddy Long Leggs) has undoubtedly become one of Providence's fastest-rising prodigies in professional DJ music entertainment. He specializes incredible skill in one of the toughest street arts of advanced turntable techniques. A true luminary originally from the "East Side of Providence" arts scene, Leggs has spent over twenty years establishing himself from the grit of Eastside housing jams, to the street dance conventions in New England to stadium sized venues in over 30 US Cities and 15 countries around the world. As a dancer (b-boy) and musical taste-maker, his passion for dance and music has proved constant through every evolutionary moment. His artistic journey—from street dancing to providing sounds for a wide array of both private and professional venues, exudes from his early intrigue as a children’s book writer (pre 1996) to honing his trade as an all around entrepreneurial force—it has made him a legend in Rhode Island's Hip Hop scene. Whether he is mixing at "Bboy Jams" or mentoring the next generation of DJ’s, Leggs embodies the perfect fusion of technical mastery and creative musical innovation that defines the vibrant hip-hop practitioner many have aspired to become. He has extensive experience with all party-goers and nearly all genre’s of music, including: Funk, Rock, Soul R&B, Hip Hop, Electro, Creole, Breakbeats, Crossover, Pop, and catering to various crowds. His career spans 30 years in the game as a professional dancer (2001 as a dj) once he graces the turntables, the spread of his melodic performances expand faster than the expanse of the known universe… Leggs has never concerned himself with winning any artistic awards for his crafts. Learn directly from someone who came up in the culture as a Hip Hop Dancer Turned DJ. Private sessions with Leggs are hands-on. Each lesson is 1.5hrs and the trainer setup is included (for private workshops only) You get full DJ Lessons, learn: BPMS, Mixing, Cutting, Scratching, How to work with various music genres and how to setup/break down a standard DJ Setup Plus priceless professional insight and advice about everything from equipment to musical techniques — no fluff, no filler. Whether you're a complete beginner with no equipment, or a student (with equipment) or looking to sharpen your technique, you get his full attention and real knowledge passed down the right way. (Book 5 lessons, by 5 lessons - total 20 max). Private lessons are always completed at your residence (or any location of your choosing).
